The CHALLENGE
IT and Managed Services is a very competitive industry with many national competitors playing on the local level, and it can seem daunting to set yourself above national brands. Even though Elevate is a newer company their executive team has an infinite number of years of experience and knows what it takes to help their clients be successful.
Their biggest challenge was in getting more awareness, visibility, and leads.
- They weren’t showing up for their main keywords such as “Outsourced IT Support Denver” & “Denver IT Support”.
- They were receiving 900 visitors per month – It was a healthy amount of traffic but they weren’t getting any leads from the traffic
In other words, they were ranking for the wrong keywords and getting the wrong traffic to their site that wasn’t converting.
THE STRATEGY
Starting from scratch, Firestarter developed a strategy geared towards driving the right traffic to the website, and generating leads.

There was very little keyword targeting on the site, so Firestarter SEO created a strategic Keyword Map and began implementing those keywords throughout key areas of the site.

LINK BUILDING
With only 75 Referring Domains to speak of in 2020, Firestarter SEO had to prioritize getting them listed on as many relevant sites as possible. So we undertook a link building campaign consisting of directories and guest posts.

WEBSITE REDESIGN
With Google making it a priority to have a mobile friendly and fast website, Elevate was missing an opportunity. 6 months into their SEO campaign, there was some rankings increase but it was only scratching the surface of what a new, mobile friendly and fast website would bring.
