History and Background
Jared, a lifelong firestarter in various ways, has been an integral part of our team since 2017. With an eclectic background involving steel shipping, engineering, politics, and much more, Jared has the knowledge, drive, and passion to continue to thrive at Firestarter SEO. Jared grew up in Texas in a Football family, and if you know anything about Texas High School Football, you know this served as a foundation for the rest of his life. The team aspect, having his step-father as a coach, and playing against NFL quality talent showed him he can stand next to anyone and hold his own. After graduating from the University of Houston with a major in History and minor in Political Science Jared tapped into the political world in the 2016 presidential cycle. After spending the better part of the year 2000 miles from home around all new people, Jared knew the political world was not for him. The ebbs and flows of life provided him with the opportunity to attend The Iron Yard, a coding boot camp in Austin, TX. While there he was able to develop a strong foundation in web development, design, and much more related to the internet. This set the stage for a move from Texas to Denver and as things fell in line, we brought him aboard at Firestarter SEO.
Responsibilities as a Firestarter
Jared originally came aboard as a project manager and has heavily improved our ability to manage, execute, and report to our clients. As our company has progressed, we have moved him into a sales account executive role and this move has pushed our success to a new level. Not only is Jared personable and outgoing, he has the technical skills and knowledge to understand what it will take to grow your business with SEO. For the first three years of Jared’s employment, he was in the meat of each and every campaign. Developing link building plans, keyword maps, and executing technical fixes for all of our clients on a daily basis forced him to understand what works and what does not. As one of our resident SEO experts, it is extremely likely that Jared will touch your campaign at some point or another. Jared’s direct responsibilities are as follows:

Hobbies and Interests
Jared understands and prioritizes a good work/life balance. In Denver, the possibilities are endless for hobbies and activities. Most weekends you will find the bearded wonder up in the mountains whether it be hiking, camping, snowboarding, mountain biking or simply enjoying the crisp, clean mountain air. His furry (really furry) companion, Tex, is by his side every step of the way. After rescuing Tex from a dog rescue in Texas, the two have been inseparable Colorado adventure buddies. Apart from Colorado adventure time, Jared tries to make it to one camping music festival a year and make it back to see the Texas family a few times a year.
